Winter Tires, Lets hear what you think

So with the rainy season hitting us here in the Northwest, I figured it is probably time to start looking into some winter tires or a set of all Seasons. I think I am leaning the all season route, seeing how I have a lifted Jeep on 35s for trips up the mountain. I don't really want to bother with swapping tires twice a year, I'd rather just have one do all set! Any recommendations? I'm currently looking at the following.

Nitto NeoGen
Cooper Zeon RS3-A
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3

After all of the research, decided to go with studless, here in Edmonton we have nearly 6 months of the white stuff, going to go with Michelin X-ice 3. Seem to always be in the top rated if not the first overall pick.

After doing alittle digging, I thought I'd share a few deals I have found. I list ebay prices from Discount Tire's Ebay page because they will price match the online price when ordered at the shop. Still debating on what tire to go with myself.

Nitto NeoGens $336 for 4

Cooper Zeons $368 - $80 rebate = 288 for 4

Kumho Ecsta 4X KU22 $404 - $50 rebate = 354 for 4

Falken Ziex ZE-912 $288 - $50 rebate = 238 for 4.

I just booked an appointment next week to get my snow tires.

I ended up getting studded Hakka7's in 185/60r15 with steel rims.

Bring on the snow!

Well I did a test fit of my tires both summer and winter tires and BOTH Rub on the front of the front wheel well the 205/50/17 winters just a lil bit and full turn and the 225/45/17 DZll rubbed hard at full turn .. Since I am not willing to chance wheel spacers ill be looking for other options might stay 17 for winter as I have a set of rims and go 16 inch wheels and tires come spring for the cone killing season ... it was a gamble but only cost the price of getting the tires mounted to find out for sure.... Plus the 225 raised the car about a 1/2 inch compared to stock .. Oh well off to shop for winters and wait for spring to get some track tires ...

Got my all seasons installed today. Didn't go a full winter tire due to the lack of real snow we get in the Portland Metro area.

I would go with something narrower than the 205/40 to reduce the amount of pushing or snow displacement when you try and drive through 3-4" of the white stuff. My 185/60's last year went through as much snow as I had clearence to get over. They are also much cheaper too.

Quote from 1010tires.com (canadian company) for your tires which i'll also probably order:
Shipping: (Ground Shipping (Canada)) $39.80 (CAD)
Tax: $91.49 (CAD)
Total: $795.25 (CAD)

When using stock wheels think about what it costs each time to get winter tires on in the winter and off again in the spring. At $20/change that is $40/year and $120-160 over the life of the winter tire. Rims cost about $90-100@. You also do not have to deal with someone dinging up your rims everytime they switch tires and you can put them on and off when you need to without the hassel of a tire shop.

I'm sorry for the bad pics but for anyone who wanted to know how 15in looks, well there it is. Setup is 185/60r15, the steel wheel p/n is different for the ST model v.s. Reg Fiesta's. so be aware, if you get some, and make sure the shop order the right wheels.

Front wheel, you can see that the caliper barely has enough clearance.

Rear wheel ;
