Don't even think it will fit ...think I need a blanking plate??

Post some pictures. But yes that should work on the MK2. You'll probably get sick of the sound after a few months lol.

Think it wud make much of a sound?? Ordered a decat also car is standard at the moment apart from wind defectors and zinsport grills

Not really any downside if you really want the sound. Most people don't like it because it gets annoying after awhile.
