New guy looking to buy a Focus for a commuter car

I just bought a house and my commute per day will be 108 miles to and from work.

I've looked at a number of cars and have pretty much settled on a Focus hatchback. I've read that the 05 and newer have a timing chain and to make sure I get one with a DOHC engine.

I've found one on Craigslist at a car lot. Yeah I know.........car lots suck.

Anyway this one is an 07 with 92k miles on it. Looks pretty clean, a few nicks and scratches but overall in good shape with new tires and a 5 spd.

They want $2250 for it. Around here that's cheap, and especially cheap for car lot.

My question i what can they be hiding that they are willing to let it go for this price? I've not owed a Focus before and before I spend my money wanted to ask the experts here on what to look for.

Any help you can give me will be very much appreciated.
