Oil pressure light on

I have just carried out an oil change with no issues only to find the oil pressure light stays on at idle. Can anybody shed any light on why this might happen as the engine sounds fine and I don't believe I have low oil pressure. I cannot think of any reason for this to be happening, but it is very worrying nonetheless.
