How bad are 2017 fiesta speakers?

The sound in the stock sound system is tinny and difficult to hear on freeway driving. What is the real issue... the radio, the speakers, or the small size of the car and wheels? Any thoughts?

And I have tried to tweak the sound controls.

Being a five year old car, it’s very possible that you have one or more speakers that have failed. I would measure the diameter of the old ones and go shopping for replacement speakers that would fit in the space provided.

I upgraded the speakers and head unit in my 2017. Check my build thread for specs and pictures. Made a big difference.
