How much, if any, friction or rotation occurs within the gear box where the manual transmission fluid is housed? Is it only lubricating the linkage and gears or more aggressive rotation?
I had my fluid changed and it slowly became difficult to put into gear especially reverse.
Feels like a bad throw out bearing.
Just curious how crucial the fluid is and how much it has to work.
