Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone was also affected by the oil pump drive belt recall that Ford motor company just sent out. Mine just failed two weeks after getting the recall notice. Still trying to get Ford to help me out with it. The cost to replace my engine is over $10,000. Instead of repairing it, the dealership here wanted to give me $250 for my 2018 Ford focus that has just over 75,000 miles on it. I was just wondering if anyone is in a similar situation as me. It has to be happening to somebody else since the recall has gone out.
