Focus zetec 2008

So i hit a curb in my 2008 focus zetec 1.8 diesel the car lost power (no noises made) and now will not start.. Radio & lights still work ect, Have checked the battery to make sure no loose wires. What could be the problem??

Depending on how hard you hit the curb, it could be that the fuel cutoff switch needs to be reset. In the U.S., it’s located on the passenger-side panel below the dash. There’s a hole where you can insert your finger and press the reset button.
