So I bought this car for 600 bucks and it had a bad shift solenoid a, fixed that no issues. Throws engine code p0402. Replaced egr, dpfe sensor, and the egr vacuum solenoid. Now that I replaced all that I'm throwing a p0401 code for insufficient exhaust recirculation. Problem after problem, any suggestions on where to look?

I had the same issue with mine and replacing the dpfe sensor fixed the problem. Just to be clear you did replace the egr valve right?

Yes, the valve and the vacuum operated solenoid that was connected to it

I haven't touched anything else on the car. I thought it was weird that it went from a excessive exhaust recirculation to insufficient exhaust recirculation

I could not find any leaks in the car, I'm not sure what's going on. Everything has its proper voltage, I haven't checked out what the evap test port does yet though
